Amboseli National Park is located in Loitoktok District about 240 km on the Nairobi – Arusha Road, through Meshanani Gate. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
We will pick you from your Nairobi Hotel or at the Airport in the morning and after a short safari briefing your 2 days safari in Amboseli National Park will start driving south across the Athi Plains, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant. Lunch at the camp and later proceed for an evening game viewing drive in search of big game country: Lion, Cheetah antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe, with the best views of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro can be seen from all the lodges /camps. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or tented camp.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi or Mombasa
After an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge or tented camp , your 2 days safari in kenya will come to an end returning by road. Optionally depending with your flight schedule you may leave the Amboseli after lunch or depart for Mombasa island and relax on the clean white sandy beaches of Mombasa island along the warm Indian Ocean.
